Rain, Kim Tae-hee Wed in Private Ceremony
K-pop star Rain and actress Kim Tae-hee tied the knot in a private ceremony at a Catholic church in central Seoul on Thursday.
Kim's agency released wedding photos later the same day.
The photos include shots of the couple gazing lovingly at each other, with the bride wearing a knee-length dress with veil, and of Rain and Kim kneeling in prayer together.
Kim later thanked her fans in a handwritten letter. "I am so grateful to the many fans who sent congratulations," she wrote. "Today is the first day of our long journey together. We are happy to take the first step with the blessings of all our loving fans."
The couple revealed their plans in a surprise announcement just two days before the wedding. They reportedly do not plan to take a honeymoon.

단독[아시아경제 STOO 김은애 기자]가수 비(35, 본명 정지훈)와 배우 김태희(37)가 오늘 백년가약을 맺는 가운데 축가는 하객들이 함께 부르며 로맨틱한 결혼식을 만든다.
19일 한 관계자는 스포츠투데이에 "비와 김태희가 이날 오후 서울 모처 성당에서 결혼식을 올린다. 양가 부모, 지인, 소속사 관계자들이 참석하며 이들이 함께 축가 두 곡을 부를 예정이다"고 귀띔했다.
비와 김태희는 이미 하객들에게 결혼식에서 부를 두 곡의 축가악보를 전한 것으로 알려졌다.
지난 17일 공식입장을 통해 결혼을 알린 비는 "결혼식과 시간은 현재 시국이 불안정하고 경제적으로 어려운 시기에 최대한 조용하고 경간하게 마무리하고자 합니다”라고 밝히면서 극비리에 결혼식을 진행할 것이라고 밝혔다.비와 김태희의 결혼은 갑작스러웠지만 비는 은밀히 결혼을 암시해왔다. 비는 최근 다수의 예능프로그램에 출연하며 김태희에 대한 애정을 과시하는가하면, 지난 15일에는 프러포즈 송 '최고의 선물'을 발표했다.
비와 김태희는 지난 2012년 한 CF현장에서 첫 만남을 가진 뒤 연인으로 발전했다. 이후 비는 김태희를 위해 가톨릭으로 종교를 바꾸고 세례까지 받는 등 남다른 애정을 과시해왔다.

[OSEN=이소담 기자] 가수 비와 배우 김태희가 어제(19일) 혼배미사를 올리며 5년 열애를 끝으로 공식적으로 부부가 됐다. 근래에 들어 가장 기쁜 뉴스에 또 한 쌍의 톱스타 부부의 탄생을 두고 축하가 쏟아지고 있다.
비와 김태희는 지난 19일 서울 종로구 가회동 성당에서 부부의 연을 맺었다. 결혼식이 진행되는 당일까지 하객들도 몰랐을 만큼 조용히 진행된 결혼식이었다.
그 까닭은 시국에 있다. 앞서 비는 지난 17일 결혼을 공식 발표할 당시 뉴스를 통해 전해지는 소식에 웃을 날이 없는 요즘이라 조용히 식을 올리겠다는 양해를 구한 바 있다. 결혼식에 앞서 가회동 성당에 경호원들과 하객들이 등장하면서 장소가 알려지게 됐고, 취재진과 해외 관광객 그리고 시민들이 성당 앞에 속속 모여들었다.
5년의 열애 끝에 부부가 된 비와 김태희 부부를 더욱 로맨틱하게 만든 건 직접 밝힌 바는 없지만 모두가 알아챈 ‘공개 프러포즈’였다. 바로 비의 새 앨범에 수록된 ‘최고의 선물’이라는 곡이 김태희를 위한 것.
단연 가사가 돋보였다. ‘영원한 너의 이름 / 가장 큰 기쁨’은 클 태(太), 기쁠 희(喜)로 해석, 김태희의 이름을 지칭하는 것이 아니냐는 추측. 전체적으로 가사의 내용을 보면 결혼을 앞둔 연인을 향해 영원한 사랑을 약속하는 내용이다. 이에 결혼이 임박한 것이 아니냐는 팬들의 설렘 가득한 추측이 이어졌다.
또한 천주교 신자인 김태희를 따라 비가 앞서 세례를 받은 것은 잘 알려진 사실이다. 결혼식에도 참석해 이 부부의 탄생을 축하한 안성기가 비의 대부다. 이밖에 결혼식에는 JYP엔터테인먼트의 수장 박진영을 비롯해 박준형과 김태우(지오디), 싸이, 윤계상과 이하늬 커플 등이 참석했다.
지난 2011년 광고촬영을 통해 인연을 맺은 두 사람은 2013년 1월 1일 연인임을 공식 인정하며 공개 연인이 됐고, 지난 17일 결혼 소식을 발표한 이틀 후인 19일 결혼식을 올렸다. 서로를 알게 된 이후부터 약 6년의 인연 끝에 한 쌍의 부부가 된 두 사람. 이들의 앞길을 축복하는 목소리가 쏟아지고 있다. / besodam@osen.co.kr

[OSEN=이소담 기자] 가수 비와 배우 김태희가 지난 19일 결혼식을 올린 가운데, 하객들의 인증샷이 속속 올라와 결혼식 현장을 엿볼 수 있었다.
그룹 지오디의 박준형은 이날 자신의 인스타그램을 통해 결혼식 피로연 인증샷을 올렸다. 비와 김태희는 선남선녀의 만남이라고 불렸던 만큼 우월한 외모는 물론 다정한 모습으로 눈길을 끌었다.
특히 박준형은 특유의 장난기 넘치는 모습답게 "요우 리틀 브라더. 하느님의 축복으로 둘이서 아주 오래 이쁜 사랑 키워가며 행복하게 살아. 그리고 나중에 예쁜 아기도 한 방의 빼애앰"이라는 덕담을 남겼다.

Korean pop star Rain, 34, and actress Kim Tae Hee, 36, got married on January 19 in a simple wedding ceremony attended only by about 100 family members and close friends.

The power couple tied the knot amid tight security at 2PM at the Gahoe-dong Catholic Church near the tourist site Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul.
Lua Entertainment and Rain Company, the couple’s agencies, released photos of the wedding showing the actress wearing a mini wedding dress and Rain sporting a tuxedo.

The gown was designed by the actress and her stylist bought the fabric and made it, according to Korean news reports.
One of the guests was Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment who sang “You’re the One.” Rain started his music career under the agency.
Other guests were actor Ahn Sung Ki, who was Rain’s godfather when he was baptized as Catholic in 2014; actress and former Miss Korea winner Honey Lee and her boyfriend, singer and actor Yoon Kye-sang; g.o.d’s Park Joon Hyung and Kim Tae Woo, and Korean rapper Psy.

Rain and Kim Tae Hee met while filming a commercial in 2011 and started dating the following year. They admitted their romantic relationship in 2013.

On January 19, Rain and Kim Tae Hee were married in a very private event with close family and friends. The only photos released at the time were from the newlywed couple themselves, giving fans a peak of the humble ceremony.
Photos have now been released by close friends and family of the couple from the ceremony and subsequent banquet. Those in attendance also shared emotional congratulatory messages for the newlyweds, who have now become one of the wealthiest couples in Korea.

The couple have been sharing heartwarming messages since news first broke that the couple were engaged and to be married. Rain started with an adorable letter that confirmed his proposal to Kim Tae Hee.

Rain has shown his thoughtful heart towards his in-laws starting his first day of marriage to Kim Tae Hee.
On January 19, Rain and Kim Tae Hee officially tied the knot through a private ceremony with family and close friends.
On January 20, it was reported that Rain visited the home of Kim Tae Hee′s parents with Kim Tae Hee as soon as the wedding was over. Since day one of the marriage, Rain showed his thoughtful and caring heart towards his in-laws.
Additionally, after the wedding ceremony, Kim Tae Hee shared a hand-written letter through her agency Lua Entertainment. The actress thanked fans for their support and congratulations even through the sudden news.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the newlyweds have not purchased their home yet.

Actors Kim Tae-hee and Jung Ji-hoon (Rain) chose to have a modest ceremony for their wedding that took place on Thursday afternoon.
Rather than the usual five-star hotels celebrities pick for their nuptials, Kim and Jung held theirs at Gaheo-dong Catheral in Jongno-gu, Seoul, following their Catholic convictions.
At the ceremony, what caught the eyes of the 50 or so attendees was Kim‘s wedding gown.
Again, rather than an extravagant dress from a high-end brand, Kim donned a piece designed by her own stylist.

The long-sleeved white dress was embroidered with flowers and cut short at the knees. Her veil was short, simply falling to the middle of her back.
A person who claimed knowledge of Kim and Jung’s wedding said that, “Kim Tae-hee personally offered her own ideas for the design. The stylist bought the material specially and made the dress.”
Kim graduated from the Seoul National University with a diploma in fashion studies.

SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) -- Rain and Kim Tae-hee, the newly wed top celebrity couple, will leave for their honeymoon in Bali, their management agencies said Friday
They plan to leave on Sunday for a five-day honeymoon to an unidentified location on the Indonesian island, Rain Company and Lua Entertainment said in a joint press release.
The 34-year-old singer and the 37-year-old actress married at a Catholic church in Seoul amid considerable attention from media and their fans at home and abroad. The low-key ceremony held on Thursday was attended by a select group of relatives and friends.
